HOKIES
Virginia Tech is coming off a well-earned bye week after facing two top-10 opponents on the road the weekend before. As the Hokies dive back into ACC play in what will be their third-consecutive match against a top-10 opponent, Tech will look to get the ball rolling early in doubles. In their last outing, Virginia Tech nearly snatched the doubles point from No. 9 Duke, as Erika Cheng and Rita Pinto went to a tiebreaker, while Katie Andreini and Annie Clark dropped their match, 7-5.

HURRICANES
Miami is 6-1 in its last seven matches with five ranked wins in that span, defeating No. 61 Florida State, No. 15 Wake Forest, No. 47 Georgia Tech, No. 19 UCF and No. 17 Old Dominion. The 'Canes one loss came at the hands of No. 2 NC State, 4-3, in Raleigh, N.C. Miami has three ranked players in its singles lineup: No. 56 Daevenia Achong, No. 58 Eden Richardson and No. 112 Isabelle Pfennig. Achong and Richardson make up the No. 16-ranked doubles duo, while Diana Khodan and Maya Tahan are ranked No. 72 together.

SEMINOLES
Florida State snapped a four-match losing streak last Sunday with a 4-3 win over No. 62 Florida Gulf Coast. Before that, the Seminoles had fallen in four-straight ranked matches to No. 12 Miami, No. 20 Wake Forest, No. 2 NC State and No. 47 Georgia Tech. Petra Hule, who plays on Court 1 for Florida State, is ranked No. 16 in the country, while Hule and Lesedi Jacobs make up the No. 39-ranked doubles pair in the country. Before facing Tech on Sunday, the Seminoles will play Virginia in Charlottesville.
