Lacrosse wins fifth straight with 21-10 victory at Furman

Blacksburg -- The Virginia Tech lacrosse team (7-3, 2-1) earned a 21-10 victory at Furman Tuesday night using a barrage of hat tricks from three players; Olivia Vergano (6), Sarah Lubnow (3) and Sophie Student (3).

How It Happened
Furman scored the game's first goal before the Hokies scored four of the next five to take control of the game.
 
By half, the Hokies lead 11-5.
 
Furman would close the gap to 11-8 early in the third before Tech scored four straight to push the advantage to seven.
 
To close the game, VT scored the final five goals.
