BLACKSBURG – Ten members of the No 21 ranked Virginia Tech women's swim and dive team will travel to Atlanta to compete in the 2022 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship, beginning on Wednesday, Mar 16 and continuing through Saturday, Mar 19.
LAST TIME OUT
Last years' NCAA Championship was historic for the Virginia Tech swimming and diving program. The women finished 21st overall with a total of 55 points. This was the second highest finish and most points scored in school history. The Hokies were recognized for six All-American Honors and broke four school records during the competition.
HEAD COACH SERGIO LOPEZ MIRO
"We are very excited to be back in Atlanta. This year we have had the most women qualify for NCAA's in Virginia Tech history. We are in a good spot and ready to swim fast. The girls got the opportunity to become familiar with the pool, the blocks, and race at a high level during the ACC Championships. We belong here, we're in good spirits, and we're very excited for this meet and the future of the Hokies."
