The Hokies shot 35.7% from the field, making 10 of 28 attempts, while the Tar Heels were 11-for-31 (35.5%) shooting.
Georgia Amoore racked up team-high 8 points while shooting 3-for-8.
Aisha Sheppard also now holds the ACC women's basketball record with most made 3-pointers with 375 total made.
