Hokies await tough test against No. 45 ODU

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech returns two play after two weeks off, facing No. 45 Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va. on Sunday afternoon.

HOKIES
Virginia Tech dropped its last two matches, though a positive came out of the Hokies' narrow 4-3 loss to Vanderbilt. Ryan Fishback (then No. 70) defeated No. 26 George Harwell in three sets – 3-6, 7-6, 7-5 – for his first ranked win of the season. Alex Ix and Alberto Orso also picked up wins in the contest.
 
In the lastest ITA Rankings, Fishback moved up to No. 68 while Fishback and Jordan Chrysostom fell to No. 33 in doubles after dropping matches against MTSU and Vanderbilt.
 
MONARCHS
Old Dominion will face No. 60 Furman on Saturday before facing Tech on Sunday. The Monarchs dropped their lone match last weekend, 5-2, to Liberty. One member of Old Dominion's lineup is ranked – No. 60 Francois Le Tallec. Le Tallec, who is 3-2 on the season, was named the Conference-USA Player of the Week on Feb. 2.
