BLACKSBURG — Coming off a solid showing in its spring opener, the Virginia Tech men's golf team ventures further south for the Dorado Beach Collegiate hosted by UNC Greensboro at TPC Dorado Beach (par 72, 7,112 yards).
Three Hokies finished inside the top 16 on the leaderboard in Tech's last outing – the Watersound Invitational. Daniel Azallion tied for 13th, followed by Connor Burgess and Connor Johnson Jr. both tying for 16th.
Those three spearhead a Tech lineup that also features David Stanford and Drew Brockwell this week. Kobe Valociek will compete as an individual.
In addition to the host Spartans and the Hokies, George Mason, VCU, Campbell, James Madison, Old Dominion, Wofford, Army and Drexel will also be vying for the team title in Puerto Rico.
