Lacrosse program begins ACC slate at Louisville Saturday afternoon

BLACKSBURG -- The Virginia Tech lacrosse team (2-2) will play its first ACC game of the season at 2-2 Louisville Saturday afternoon on ACC Network Extra.
 
Tech fell to Liberty 15-14 in OT at Thompson Field on Wednesday. Three Hokies registered hat tricks in the game; Sarah Lubnow, Sophie Student and Claire Schotta. For Schotta, it was her first collegiate hat trick. Lubnow, who leads the Hokies in total scoring this season (16 points) tallied seven in the game with a season-high four assists.
 
The Cardinals are coming off an 18-7 win over Central Michigan at U of L Lacrosse Stadium.
