For just $2 Virginia Tech fans can join Aisha Sheppard in Cassell Coliseum one last time as she plays her final regular season game against the third-ranked NC State Wolfpack on Sunday, February 27 at 6 p.m. The Hokies, who are ranked 23rd in the country will be looking to secure a top four seed in next week's ACC Tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Two dollar tickets will be available today, February 22, 2022 for a 22-hour period beginning at 10 a.m.
Sheppard became the program's all-time leading scorer this past Sunday as she surpassed Hall of Famer Renee Dennis, with her 1,792nd point of her storied career. The graduate student is also the ACC's all-time leader in 3-point field goals with 383 and counting.
In last season's contest against NC State at Cassell, Sheppard's historic overtime period helped the Hokies to the highest ranked victory in VT women's basketball history as Tech defeated the No. 2 Wolfpack. Sheppard, who scored 28, had 18 points in the overtime period, an NCAA record.
The Hokies' other seniors to be honored on Sunday will be Chloe Brooks and Emily Lytle.
