THE SERIES

  • Virginia Tech is 7-8 all-time against Syracuse. The Hokies won a 76-68 game at Cassell Coliseum in 2020-21 against the Orange. Aisha Sheppard scored a game-high 23 points and she was joined in double figures by Elizabeth Kitley (18), Cayla King (14) and Georgia Amoore (14).
  • VT is 2-6 against the Orange in ACC play.
  • VT is 3-5 against Syracuse on the road.

A WIN WOULD…

  • Lift the Hokies to 12-3 in the ACC for the first time in program history. VT has never eclipsed 11 ACC wins since joining the league in 2004. The only other season the Hokies won 11 times in ACC play was 2019-20.
  • Be Tech's fifth on the road in ACC play, setting a program record. VT has had four ACC road wins in each of the last three seasons.
  • Signal a fifth time in six seasons that Coach Brooks has guided the Hokies to a 20-win season. Prior to his arrival, VT had not won 20 games since 2005-06.
