BLACKSBURG -- The Virginia Tech women's basketball team (18-6, 10-3) returns to the court on Sunday afternoon when they take on the 23rd-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels (19-4, 9-4).
The Hokies defeated No. 11 Georgia Tech 73-63 Thursday night to earn a 10th ACC win for the second time in program history. PG Georgia Amoore scored 21 points including going 5-for-6 from behind the arc. One of her plays earned national attention.

In the first meeting between the clubs, UNC earned a 71-46 victory in Chapel Hill. The Heels has four athletes score in double figures including Eva Hodgson who had a game-high 19.
