BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Virginia Tech vs. Pitt men's basketball game has been rescheduled for Monday, February 7. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. and will be televised by ACC Network.
With the rescheduled game, the Hokies and the Panthers will now meet twice in three days. Tech and Pitt first clash on the hardwood Saturday, Feb. 5 in Pittsburgh before returning to the court two days later for the rematch inside Cassell Coliseum.
The schedule move also gives the Hokies four straight home games beginning with the Pitt game on Feb. 7. Tech will then face Syracuse (Feb. 12), Virginia (Feb. 14) and North Carolina (Feb. 19) at home.
Tickets purchased/allocated for the previous Jan. 1 sellout vs. Pitt will be honored at the Feb. 7 rescheduled game.
