Nickeil Alexander-Walker | New Orleans Pelicans | Third season
Alexander-Walker returned to the court on Jan. 1 after entering the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols on Dec. 23. He had 13 points in 27 minutes of action against the Milwaukee Bucks.


 
On Dec. 21, the 6-foot-5 guard recorded 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting to guide the Pelicans to a 111-97 win vs. the Portland Trail Blazers. It was the highest point total by Alexander-Walker since he posted a season-high 33 points on Nov. 10 vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.
 

 
In his last 10 games, Alexander-Walker is averaging 13.3 points per game while shooting 37.1 percent from the floor.
 
He has steadily increased his production over the course of his three seasons in the NBA:

Justin Robinson | Detroit Pistons | Third season
Robinson signed a 10-day contract with Detroit on Dec. 28, following a 10-day stint with the Sacramento Kings. J-Rob began the 2021-22 NBA season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
 
The 6-foot-1 guard is averaging 6.3 points per game through four games with the Pistons. He delivered nine points and three rebounds on Jan. 5 at Charlotte. It was his highest scoring output since Robinson chalked up 11 points while part of the Bucks on Nov. 2.
 


Robinson and the Pistons continue their road swing on Jan. 6 at the Memphis Grizzlies.
