BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech's annual Orange Effect game is set for the Hokies' season opener against North Carolina in primetime on Friday, Sept. 3. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET as Tech football will play in front of what is sure to be a raucous 100-percent capacity crowd under the lights in Lane Stadium.

- 540 Zone season tickets - Package of two season tickets available exclusively to Hokies within a 75-mile radius of Blacksburg

Virginia Tech athletics partners with the Undergraduate Student Senate (formerly Student Government Association) to execute Hokie Effect experiences for all fans in attendance at Lane Stadium. Details on this season's T-shirts will be released in the coming days.
Virginia Tech director of athletics Whit Babcock announced Monday, June 14 that Lane Stadium will operate at 100 percent capacity for football games in 2021. Tech athletics will continue to work within all guidelines mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, in addition to abiding by all health and safety precautions recommended by University and local health officials.
