RB Khalil Herbert 
Chicago's rookie running back scored his second career touchdown in the team's thrilling, one-point win over Seattle last week. Herbert rushed twice for 21 yards, including his 20-yard touchdown carry. He also hauled in a seven-yard reception and returned five kickoffs for 94 yards on the day. Through 15 games of his young career, Pro Football Focus has Herbert graded as the No. 1 rookie running back in the league and No. 12 running back overall. Herbert, recently signed QB Ryan Willis and the Bears host the New York Giants on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

LB Tremaine Edmunds
A staple in the middle of the Bills' defense, Edmunds led the team with eight tackles in Buffalo's divisional win over New England on Sunday. The win puts Buffalo in the driver's seat for the AFC East crown as Buffalo just needs to win its two remaining games to take its second division title in as many years. Edmunds leads all Bills' defenders with 97 tackles (61 solo) in 2021. Buffalo hosts Atlanta on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Sunday, Jan. 2
 
Philadelphia at Washington – 1 p.m. ET – FOX
CB Kendall Fuller returned from the reserve/COVID-19 list to record five tackles and a pass defensed for the Football Team last week. K Joey Slye was also back off injured reserve and made both of his extra-point attempts in Washington's loss to Dallas on Sunday Night Football. DT Tim Settle saw reserve action in the game. The Hokie trio host another division opponent this Sunday in the Philadelphia Eagles. 
 
Las Vegas at Indianapolis – 1 p.m. ET – FOX
LB Divine Deablo started his third consecutive game for the Raiders last week in their win over AFC West opponent Denver. CB Brandon Facyson did not play in the game as he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to the contest. The Raiders (8-7) face a big road test in Indianapolis (9-6) as both teams are fighting for the six AFC playoff spots still up for grabs. 
 
L.A. Rams at Baltimore – 1 p.m. ET – FOX
S Chuck Clark and the Ravens host the Rams on Sunday following a loss to divisional opponent Cincinnati last week in which Clark made six tackles. Baltimore (8-7) will look to keep its playoff push alive against Los Angeles (11-4) who have already clinched a spot in the NFC playoffs. 
 
Miami at Tennessee – 1 p.m. ET – CBS
The Dolphins and WR Isaiah Ford won their seventh straight game last week on Monday Night Football as Miami took down New Orleans. Ford made his first start of the season and second of his career in the contest. Miami (8-7) puts its winning streak on the line against Tennessee (10-5) as both teams are currently in playoff position although neither have clinched yet. 
 
Denver at L.A. Chargers – 4:05 p.m. ET – CBS
The Broncos and CB Kyle Fuller look to bounce back from their loss to division opponent Las Vegas against another AFC West rival in the L.A. Chargers. Fuller saw reserve action in Denver's loss last week. The Broncos (7-8) and Chargers (8-7) are both looking to move into playoff position with a win. 
 
Detroit at Seattle – 4:25 p.m. ET – FOX
T Duane Brown started and played every offensive snap in the Seahawks' loss to Chicago last week. Seattle hosts Detroit on Sunday. 
 
Minnesota at Green Bay – 8:20 p.m. ET – NBC
A pair of Hokie tackles face off on Sunday Night Football as T Christian Darrisaw and the Vikings head to Lambeau Field to play T Yosh Nijman and the Packers. Both Tech alums started at left tackle and played every offensive snap in their respective games last week. Green Bay has already clinched the NFC North but Minnesota still has a chance to grab one of the remaining two playoff spots up for grabs in the NFC. 
 
Monday, Jan. 3 
 
Cleveland at Pittsburgh – 8:15 p.m. ET – ESPN
Another primetime Hokie vs. Hokie matchup sees G Wyatt Teller and the Browns take on S Terrell Edmunds and the Steelers on Monday Night Football. Teller started at right guard and played every snap of the Browns' loss to Green Bay last week as Edmunds made five tackles in Pittsburgh's loss to Kansas City. Both teams are fighting to get into the AFC playoff picture.
