BLACKSBURG -- The Virginia Tech women's basketball team (9-3, 1-0) returns to Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum for their initial home contest of the ACC slate. Before the holiday break, Tech earned a 92-75 victory at FSU on December 19, kicking off the ACC season in style. For the first time this season, five Hokies registered 10+ points.
Center Elizabeth Kitley was honored as the league's Player of the Week following her 34-point double-double. She leads the conference in double-doubles and 20-point games and blocks in addition to being second in points, rebounds and FG%.
