Multiple Hokies fighting for spots in the NFL Playoffs

Notable Week 14 Performance

LB Tremaine Edmunds
In Buffalo's overtime loss to Tampa Bay last week, LB Tremaine Edmunds led the Bills with 12 tackles and recorded a pass defensed. The Daleville, Virginia native leads Buffalo with 82 tackles (50 solo) on the season. Edmunds and the Bills host Carolina at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game will be televised by CBS.

More Week 15 Matchups
Saturday, Dec. 18

Las Vegas at Cleveland – 4:30 p.m. ET – NFL Network
The first Saturday NFL game of the 2021 season will feature a pair of Hokies wearing Silver and Black. LB Divine Deablo, CB Brandon Facyson and the Raiders visit the Browns for a late afternoon matchup. Last week, Deablo made his first career start at linebacker and racked up 10 tackles, while Facyson recorded a pair of tackles in Las Vegas' loss at Kansas City. Teller started at right guard in the Browns' win over Baltimore, but is on the Reserve/COVID List for Saturday's game.

Sunday Dec. 19

Tennessee at Pittsburgh – 1 p.m. ET – CBS
S Terrell Edmunds and the Steelers prepare to host the Titans in a game with plenty of playoff implications. Currently, Pittsburgh sits a half game out of the AFC's seventh seed, while Tennessee is tied for the conference's best record at 9-4. Last week, Edmunds made five tackles and recorded a pass defensed in Pittsburgh's Thursday Night Football loss at Minnesota.

N.Y. Jets at Miami – 1 p.m. ET – CBS
After enjoying their bye last week, WR Isaiah Ford and the Dolphins are set to put their six-game winning streak on the line against AFC East rival, the N.Y. Jets. This season, Ford has hauled in his first two career touchdown passes and recorded a career-high 52-yard reception.

Washington at Philadelphia – 1 p.m. ET – FOX
Washington and its trio of Hokies came up just short of a win last week versus NFC East rival Dallas but have another crack at a divisional opponent this Sunday when they travel to Philadelphia. CB Kendall Fuller made six tackles and recorded two passes defensed, while DT Tim Settle recorded three tackles. Fuller and Settle are both on the Reserve/COVID List for Sunday's game. TE Logan Thomas will miss the remainder of the season after Washington place him on injured reserve with a torn ACL. K Brian Johnson is expected to be active for Washington.

Cincinnati at Denver – 4:05 p.m. ET – CBS
With both Cincinnati and Denver holding 7-6 records, both teams are jockeying for playoff position in the AFC as the Bengals visit CB Kyle Fuller and the Broncos. Fuller made three tackles in Denver's win over Detroit last week.

Green Bay at Baltimore – 4:25 p.m. ET – FOX
T Yosh Nijman and the Packers travel to Baltimore for a meeting with the Ravens and S Chuck Clark. Nijman started and played every offensive snap in Green Bay's win over Chicago last week while Clark recorded seven tackles in Baltimore's loss to Cleveland. Clark also recovered a Ravens' onside kick in the game.

Seattle at L.A. Rams – 4:25 p.m. ET – FOX
T Duane Brown and the Seahawks got a big win last week over Houston as Brown started at left tackle and took 100 percent of the offensive snaps. Seattle travels to Los Angeles this Sunday for a divisional matchup with the Rams.

Monday, Dec. 20

Minnesota at Chicago – 8:15 p.m. ET – ESPN
T Christian Darrisaw has been dealing with an ankle injury and has missed the Vikings' previous two games. It is unclear if the rookie will be able to suit up when Minnesota travels to Chicago and faces fellow rookie RB Khalil Herbert and the Bears on Monday Night Football. Last week, Herbert returned five kickoffs for 128 yards with a 42-yard long. He also tallied an onside kick recovery and a three-yard rush in Chicago's loss to Green Bay.
