BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech women's soccer team begins its quest for an NCAA Women's College Cup trophy this Friday night, Nov. 12, with a first-round match against Ohio State at Thompson Field at 6 p.m. ET.
Unlike regular season home matches, NCAA postseason contests at Thompson Field will require a ticket to gain admittance. The general public can purchase tickets for $10, while Hokie students and fans 18-and-under can purchase tickets for $5.
The first 500 Tech students in attendance will receive free admission with a valid Hokie Passport.
Tickets can be purchased at the Thompson Field gates, and all sales will be cash-only.
The Hokies will be making their 12th NCAA tournament appearance all-time and their eighth during Chugger Adair's 11 seasons as the program's head coach.
