BLACKSBURG – Five members of the Virginia Tech men's tennis team will be in action at the ITA Atlantic Super Regional Championship this weekend in Norfolk, Va.
In singles, Michael Shepheard, Alvaro Saez-Royuela Ariza, Hugo Maia, and Ryan Fishback will be in action, while Scott Sculley and Fishback, and Ariza and Maia will team up in doubles.
Action will start on Saturday with doubles at 8:30 a.m. Maia and Ariza will take on the duo of Karpinski/Koons in doubles on Court 3, while Sculley and Fishback challenge Brown/Davis of William & Mary on Court 2.
Singles will follow at 9:30 a.m. with Michael Shepheard taking on Jeffrey von der Schulenberg (UVA) on Court 2, and Ariza facing Ismail Saadi (PSU) on Court 3. Maia goes against Charles Bertimon (VCU) on Court 7 at 11 a.m., along with Fishback against Inaki Montes de la Torre (UVA) on Court 6.
