BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women's tennis team ventures to Charlotte, N.C. this weekend for another fall competition.
Joining the Hokies from Friday to Sunday will be student-athletes from Charlotte, Clemson, Liberty, Rutgers, ETSU, UNC, South Carolina, Columbia, and LIU-Brooklyn.
The format consists of four doubles matches and eight singles matches, with a morning slate beginning at 9 a.m. each day and an afternoon group at 2 p.m. Virginia Tech is scheduled to play at 2 p.m. each day.
Play is planned to take place outdoors, but should it need to move indoors, all three sets of doubles would be played in both the morning and afternoon sessions on Friday and play only singles on Saturday and Sunday.
