- William & Mary (2-1, 0-1 CAA) enters the match coming off its first loss of the season to Northeastern on Saturday. Leading the Tribe is 2020-21 first team All-CAA selection Alexander Levengood, who has recorded two goals and an assist this season.
NOTES ON THE HOKIES
- Virginia Tech (3-1-2, 1-1 ACC) hits the road again for its second true road match and sixth fixture away from home this season. The Hokies are 2-1-2 in those matches, with three of those games being against ranked opponents (No. 1 Marshall, No. 20 Seton Hall, and No. 19 Duke).
- The Hokies played in a thriller their last time out, as a Jacob Labovitz header in double overtime propelled Tech past Commonwealth rival Virginia.
