BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women's tennis team opens its fall slate of competition on Friday with the Hokie Fall Invitational.
The competition, which will run from Friday through Sunday, will be held at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center in Blacksburg, Va. Matches will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday.
Joining the Hokies at the invitational will be student-athletes from: Liberty, Radford, VCU, Penn State, ETSU, Bluefield State, West Virginia State, and JMU.
The format consists of four flights of singles and two flights of doubles. Main draw singles will play best two out of three sets, while the consolation draw will play a 10-point tiebreak third set. Doubles will be pro sets.
