BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head coach Kristen Skiera announced the hiring of Megan Kilpatrick Tuesday as the program's director of operations. Kilpatrick, a Pennsauken, New Jersey native played college ball at Coastal Carolina where she had been an assistant coach since her graduation in 2020.
"We are so excited to complete our staff with the addition of Megan Kilpatrick in the Director of Lacrosse Operations role," Skiera said. "Megan's experience as a former Division 1 lacrosse player, coupled with her coaching experience, will undoubtedly add value to our program. I know Megan is eager to dive into her new role and begin her efforts to enhance our student-athlete's experience!"
A two-time First Team ASUN player with the Chanticleers, Kilpatrick played midfield and started in 53 of her 58 career games. Kilpatrick scored six total points, recorded 67 ground balls, caused 46 turnovers and collected 49 draw controls.
Kilpatrick owns an undergraduate degree in recreation and sport management and an MBA from Coastal Carolina.
