GREENSBORO, N.C. – Following his race win at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational, senior Antonio Lopez Segura has been named as Co-Men's Performer of the Week by the ACC.
The Barcelona, Spain native finished the 8k course in 24:27.8, nearly 24 seconds ahead of the field, to lead the Hokies to a team win by a margin of 50 points. This marks the first time in Lopez Segura's career he's received an ACC Performer of the Week honor.
Lopez Segura paced the Hokies at the 2020 ACC Championships, finishing in ninth and earning All-ACC honors.
