BLACKSBURG - The No. 20/19 Virginia Tech softball team hosts Liberty for its final regular season game of the year Tuesday in the second half of a home-and-home with the Flames.
 
The Hokies (32-12, 23-11 ACC) dropped their first game versus the Flames (37-12, 16-2 ASUN) on April 28, a 5-3 loss after nine innings in Lynchburg. However, despite losing their last two games to Liberty, Tech is 36-16 all-time versus the Flames.
 
In their last 10 meetings, the teams are 5-5 but the Hokies are 18-6 at Tech Softball Park against their in-state foe. Tech head coach Pete D'Amour is 1-3 in his head coaching career versus the Flames.

LAST TIME OUT
 
The Hokies ended their final ACC series of the year with an 8-1 win over Syracuse, the 100th win at Virginia Tech for head coach Pete D'Amour. Tech  completed their first sweep of the year after the 8-1 win over the Orange, led by Keely Rochard and Kelsey Bennett. Rochard got the win in all four games and Bennett led the team offensively with seven runs batted in.
 
WHO TO WATCH
 
Keely Rochard got the win in all four games at Syracuse, including her second no-hitter of the season, seventh of her career, in Game 1. Rochard pitched 22 innings versus Syracuse and allowed just one run.
 
Kelsey Bennett leads the team with 11 home runs on the season and is coming off a weekend where she hit .429 with a team-leading seven runs batted in at Syracuse. Bennett is second on the team with 36 RBIs.
