STILLWATER, Okla. — Mark Lawrence Jr., who opened with rounds of 77 and 75 during Monday's 36 holes, fired another 3-over 75 on Tuesday to climb 11 spots and tie for 43rd at the Stillwater Regional. Originally scheduled as a three-day event, tournament officials ruled in favor of 36 holes on the first day to allow for more schedule flexibility with pending weather in the area Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lawrence, Jr., who entered as the two seed among individual participants at Karsten Creek Golf Club (par 72, 7,502 yards), finished at 11-over 227. It was the third regional appearance of his career, after placing 12th at the West Lafayette Regional (2017) and tying for 65th at the Raleigh Regional (2018).

Regional host Oklahoma State, ranked fourth by Golfstat, topped the team leaderboard at 28-under 836. Ninth-ranked Illinois finished second at 14-under 850. SMU (864), Sam Houston (875) and Little Rock (879) claimed the final three spots to advance to nationals.

SMU's Noah Goodwin, ranked 10th in the country, fired a 15-under 201 to win the regional over Oklahoma State's Bo Jin.
