No. 33 Hokies ready for No. 32 Rams

HOKIES 
Virginia Tech (9-7, 5-5 ACC) returns to play after nearly a week off following a loss to No. 4 Virginia (16-2, 10-0). The Hokies lone point against the Cavaliers came from Ryan Fishback, who defeated No. 83 Ryan Goetz in straight sets. The No. 35 doubles duo of Fishback and Jordan Chrysostom also picked up a huge win against the No. 4 pair of Carl Soderlund and William Woodall. Tech places two players in the most recent ITA singles rankings – No. 41 Alex Ribeiro and No. 86 Matthis Ross.
 
RAMS
VCU (12-2, 3-0 A10) has won four of its last five matches, dropping its most recent match to No. 14 Wake Forest (23-5, 8-1), 4-0. The Rams have the No. 51 doubles tandem of Inigo Torre Martin and Rayane Stable. The last time to two sides faced off, Virginia Tech defeated VCU, 4-2.
