Virginia Tech lacrosse takes on No. 6 Notre Dame at noon Wednesday

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team is back on the field on Wednesday, April 21 for a contest at No. 6 Notre Dame. The game will start at 12 p.m. and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
 
Tech's last outing came at No. 8 Duke on Saturday with the Hokies falling 13-7. In that game Sarah Lubnow, Paige Petty and Emma Crooks each scored two goals and Grace Nelson also scored a goal.

WHAT WE'RE WATCHING FOR
A first victory on the road against the Irish
The Hokies have never defeated the Fighting Irish on the road in five attempts. In the last meeting in 2019, Tech ultimately fell by two after a late run in the game that saw the team score the last five goals of the contest. Petty and Lubnow led the team with four and three goals, respectively.
