BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team is back on the field on Saturday, April 3 for a conference clash with No. 18 Louisville at Thompson Field. The game will be shown on ACC Network Extra and begin at 12 p.m.

The Hokies are back home after a 17-10 loss at second-ranked Syracuse last weekend, a game that was tied at halftime before the Orange took control. Emma Crooks led the Hokies with four goals in the game and in goal, Angie Benson recorded 11 saves, her third game with 10 or more this season.

 WHAT WE'RE WATCHING FOR
A new goal scoring record
Senior midfielder Paige Petty is set to become the program's all-time leader in goals with her next two tallies, which would bring her career tally to 187, eclipsing Dawn Will's record set back in 2000.

She leads the Hokies in goals this season with 23 goals, which included four hat tricks in eight games played.

Petty is already the first woman in program history to record 200 points and 200 draw controls and she is closing in on the all-time record for points at Virginia Tech as well. Megan Will (2015) posted 227, Petty stands at 206.

Another centurion
Senior attacker Sarah Lubnow is two points away from reaching 100 for her career. She currently has 54 goals and 44 assists, the latter figure being the tenth-most in Virginia Tech history.
