Game Notes

BLACKSBURG – Following its bye weekend, No. 15/13 Virginia Tech softball will play host to in-state foe Liberty on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET on ACC Network at Tech Softball Park.

The two schools will meet for the first time since 2018, when Tech fell 6-3 in Lynchburg on April 17. The Hokies lead the all-time series comfortably at 36-15, but it sure has not been comfortable as of late, with the series being an even 4-4 the last eight games dating back to 2015.

Tech is 18-6 all-time at home versus the Lady Flames and has won two of the last three at home.
