HOKIES
Last weekend, Virginia Tech (4-6-2, 0-4 ACC) fell in heartbreaking fashion to a top-five opponent in double overtime for the second time this spring when it lost to No. 5 Pitt (11-2, 3-1), 2-1. The Hokies lineup, which featured three changes to the back line, stifled the dangerous Pitt attack fairly well throughout the night, but let in a 102nd minute winner that ended Tech's upset hopes. The lone goal from the home side came from senior Jacob Labovitz, who recorded his sixth goal of the season – a team best.

TAR HEELS
North Carolina (6-3-3, 3-0-1) is coming off a 2-1 victory in overtime against Notre Dame (8-7, 1-3). The Tarheels have two threats up top in Giovanni Montesdeoca and Santiago Herrera, who have a combined seven goals on the season.
