No. 33 Hokies travel to No. 4 Virginia

Virginia Tech (9-6, 5-4 ACC) is coming off a thrilling 4-3 win against then-No. 36 Duke on Sunday. At one point trailing 2-1 to the Blue Devils and on pace to drop three other courts, sophomore Matthis Ross and freshmen Ryan Fishback and Hugo Maia each came back from third set deficits to win their matches, securing the victory for Tech. Senior Alex Ribeiro moved up to No. 41 in the last ITA rankings, along with Ross elevating to No. 86 in the polls. The duo of Fishback and sophomore Jordan Chrysostom pulled in a ranking of No. 35.
 
CAVALIERS
Virginia (15-2, 9-0) just knocked off No. 1 North Carolina (13-1, 5-1) in its last outing. The Cavaliers place five ranked players in their singles lineup: No. 6 Carl Söderlund, No. 14 Jeffrey Von Der Schulenberg, No. 42 Inaki Montes De La Torre, No. 83 Ryan Goetz, and No. 118 Chris Rodesch. Virginia also has the No. 4 ranked doubles duo of Söderlund and William Woodall.
