Tech (4-5-2, 0-2-2 ACC) is coming off a 2-0 loss to in-state rival Virginia (7-5-1, 4-4-1) and seeks to snap a three-match losing streak dating back to March 6.
The Hokies are 5-2-4 in the all-time series to Pitt (10-2, 6-1) and the two teams actually played this past fall, with the Panthers winning 4-2 in Pittsburgh.

Pitt, which is riding a two-match winning streak, turned in a double-overtime victory over Duke (3-9-2, 3-5) last Friday in Durham, 4-3. The Panthers' Arturo Ordonez hit the game-winner in OT and has six points on the season.
