BLACKSBURG — Virginia Tech returns to Thompson Field for the first time since Oct. 24 when it hosts William & Mary for a nonconference women's soccer game Saturday at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra and the WatchESPN app with Kevin Didomenico (play-by-play) and Josh Braun (analyst) on the call.
SCOUTING WILLIAM & MARY
• The Tribe enters Saturday's contest 0-0-2 following a pair of draws to open its season.
• Junior Addie Puskar scored the lone goal of the season for William & Mary in its 1-1 season-opening draw at VCU. Senior Mariana Hershner assisted on the play.
• A pair of freshmen lead the Tribe in shots, as Ginny Delacruz and Elaina Longjohn have both recorded six through two matches.
• William & Mary finished 5-11-2 overall, 3-5-1 in the CAA in 2019. Five of the Tribe's conference losses were by a goal, two of which were in double overtime. W&M returns six starters, 12 players with starting experience and over 70% of its offensive production from 2019.
KOZLOVA'S LATE-GOAL PROPELS TECH PAST CHARLOTTE, 2-1
