No. 36 Hokies keep win streak rolling against Clemson

The No. 36 Virginia Tech men's tennis team defeated (RV) Clemson on Friday afternoon at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

In doubles, the Hokies (8-4, 4-2) took control over the Tigers (6-8, 1-5) 4-0) from the start. The senior duo of Carlo Donato and Ryan Kros earned a quick 6-0 win on Court 2, setting up the clinch from sophomore Jordan Chrysostom and freshman Ryan Fishback on Court 1 with a 6-4 win.

The Hokies continued their momentum into singles. Freshman Alvaro Saez-Royuela Ariza added to Tech's tally with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Andrew Puscas on Court 6. The lead extended when Hugo Maia finished a strong performance on Court 4, winning 6-4, 6-2. Sophomore Matthis Ross clinched the win for the Hokies, with a 6-3, 6-2 win on Court 2.

Tech has now won three straight matches and is 7-0 at home this season.'

Virginia Tech will be back in action on Sunday at noon to host No. 45 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-5, 2-3) at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
