HOKIES
Virginia Tech (4-3-2, 0-1-0 ACC) dropped its match against Duke (3-7-2, 1-0-0) last Saturday, 4-2. Despite an acrobatic finish from senior Jacob Labovitz and a first career goal for junior Andrew Weber, the Hokies were unable to fend off two phases of quick strikes from the visiting Blue Devils.

Tech has been able to find the back of the net twice in both of its matches this spring, as Labovitz and junior Sivert Haugli found the back of the net against then-No. 5 Coastal Carolina in the Hokies' 2-0 win in February.

TIGERS
Clemson (9-2-1, 1-0-0 ACC) defeated Syracuse (1-5-3, 0-1-0 ACC), 3-1, last week in its first match of the spring. Midfielder Callum Johnson scored twice for the Tigers and leads all active players on Clemson's roster in points this season with nine. In the last matchup between the sides, Clemson defeated Virginia Tech, 4-1, in the 2020 ACC quarterfinals. The Tigers went on to win the ACC Championship.
