Paige Petty recognized as Tewaaraton Award Watch List Member

Paige Petty has been placed on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List for the third consecutive season, the Award announced Monday afternoon.
 
The Bernardsville, New Jersey native leads the Hokies with 10 goals this season and also owns 11 draw controls. In the each of the last two games, she has recorded hat tricks, the 28th and 29th of her illustrious career.
 
Petty is the only Hokie to ever garner two First Team All-ACC awards and has also been an All-American and the 2020 VaSID Player of the Year. Petty set the program record for goals and points in a single season in 2019 with 66 and 74, respectively.
 
During the shortened 2020 season she scored 38 goals, the third-highest total in the nation and finished with 43 total points.
 
She ranks third in Virginia Tech history in goals (172) and points (193) and is fourth all-time in draw controls (196).
