Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Hokies track and field fans should look forward to the arrival of Victoria Perrow, who just won the 60m national title at Adidas Indoor Nationals. With a time of 7.31, the Virginia Tech signee and Bowie, Md. native blew past competitors from across the country.
"It feels amazing knowing I'm a national champion, and the only person to win an individual national championship from the Bullis School," Victoria Perrow said. "This gives me confidence going into the outdoor season because I now know I'm able to keep my composure in tough races, and I'm able to execute throughout my whole race, which I know will help me in my 100."
Perrow's time gives her a new personal best and sees her high school indoor career come to a triumphant close. The senior's national championship-winning mark would rank third in Virginia Tech history. Needless to say, we'll probably see her name on a few of our all-time lists fairly soon.
