BLACKSBURG – To kick off the spring slate, head coach Marci Byers announced on Tuesday the Virginia Tech volleyball schedule for the spring with the Hokies set to play ten ACC outings. The season will begin in early March and go through April.
The Hokies concluded the fall 5-4 overall and 4-4 in conference play. The spring matches will add onto the 2020 record. The 2020 women's volleyball championship is set for April 22-24.
The ACC announced that three teams from the league will play at one host site each weekend and all three teams will compete with one another that weekend.
SCHEDULE
To begin the second half of the season, the Hokies will travel to Louisville, Ky. to take on the Cardinals in the first contest on Mar. 5 at 5 p.m ET. and then Wake Forest on Mar. 6 at 2 p.m ET. with both matches taking place in the L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.
Tech will then travel to Tallahassee, Fla. to face off against Notre Dame in the first outing on Mar. 13 at 3 p.m. ET and then the host team Florida State on Mar. 14 at 1 p.m. ET with both contests being played inside Tully Gymnasium.
The Hokies will then host their only two home matches of the spring with Georgia Tech on Mar. 19 at 1 p.m. ET and then Syracuse on Mar. 21 at 1 p.m ET. inside Cassell Coliseum.
The Hokies will then hit the road again to Chestnut Hill, Mass. to take on Miami in the first outing on Mar. 27 at 2 p.m. ET and then Boston College on Mar. 28 at 1 p.m. ET inside Power Gym.
To conclude the regular season, Tech will go to South Carolina to face off against Pitt on April 2 at 5 p.m. ET and then Clemson on April 3 at 5 p.m. ET with both matches taking place at Jervey Gym.
