ATHLETES TO WATCH

The collegiate world record holder in the 300 meters is back in the maroon and orange for his junior year, as Jacory Patterson looks to improve upon his already impressive career. Patterson last season was the first-ever Hokie to win back-to-back 400 titles in program history.

On the women's side, indoor school record holder in the pole vault, Rachel Baxter, returns for her senior season and looks to build off of her momentum from last year, winning the gold medal at the 2020 ACC Indoor Championships.

LAST TIME OUT

The last time the Hokies took the track was back in late February of 2020, when the women won the ACC Indoor Championships crown and the men took second. It marked the first title on the women's side since 2008, with the women running away with it and owning 105.5 points, which was 32.5 points more than second place (Miami, 73 points).
