BLACKSBURG – Multiple changes will be taking place due to the ongoing pandemic in regards to Virginia Tech's men's and women's basketball ticket process going into the 2020-21 academic year, as announced by the Tech athletic department on Friday.
The Cassell Coliseum reseating process, which was originally scheduled for the 2020-21 season, will now be pushed back to the 2021-22 season. Priority point rank for Hokie Club members during this reseating process will be based on each person's standing as of March 31, 2021.
And due to the unknowns surrounding COVID-19 and its potential impact on the 2020-21 basketball season, season tickets will not be made available this year. Instead, seats will be sold on an individual game basis.
Dates for when single-game tickets will be available, as well as the process in place for purchasing, will be announced at a later day.
