BLACKSBURG— The Virginia Tech men's tennis team is excited to announce two more additions to its 2021 recruiting class.
Alvaro Saez-Royuela Ariza and Hugo Maia will join the team in January ahead of its spring campaign. Having spent time on tour throughout Spain and Portugal, both players bring a wealth of experience and success from playing high-level tennis.
"I am very excited to add these guys to our roster," head coach Jim Thompson said. "They both bring lots of experience and are super drive in both tennis and academics. They will fit in our culture and have an immediate impact on our team!"
