WHAT WE'RE WATCHING FOR
Taking the show on the road

The matchup will be the first time that the Hokies have had to play outside of the friendly confines of Cassell Coliseum this season.

Last season the Hokies were 4-5 in road ACC contests, including winning at Notre Dame in February. In that contest Elizabeth Kitley posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds and also registered eight blocks, the most in an ACC game in program history.

Matching up with Notre Dame's zone

In their last game, Notre Dame allowed 82 points and better than 50% shooting from the field, including 10 3-pointers. For the season, the Irish have struggled defensively, allowing 45% on all field goal efforts.

The Hokies, who feature three of the top 3-point shooters in the conference in Aisha Sheppard, Cayla King and Georgia Amoore are not shy about using the long ball, leading the conference at 11.7 3's per game.
