Opens in a new window Schedule

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men's basketball team has announced its remaining home nonconference schedule on Wednesday, with all three contests taking place in December.

The Hokies will play at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum versus VMI on Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. ET on ACC Network, Coppin State on Dec. 19 on RSN (Regional Sports Networks), with the time TBD, and Longwood on Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.

As previously announced, Tech will play host to Radford Nov. 25 and Penn State Dec. 8, while playing in Connecticut for a two-game showcase tournament versus Temple Nov. 28 and USF Nov. 29.

The contest with the Highlanders will take place at noon and the Air Force Reserve Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament games will both be at 8 p.m. The ACC-B1G Challenge matchup with the Nittany Lions is TBD.

As announced earlier this week by Virginia Tech athletics, due to recent action steps set in place by governor Ralph Northam, sports venues in the Commonwealth of Virginia cannot exceed 250 people, including Cassell Coliseum.

Therefore, due to the statewide order, there is no opportunity to offer tickets to the public for Hokies athletics events held in Cassell. Tech athletics will continue to monitor the situation and work to provide updates on future plans as it learns more and adapts to the information available.
