Virginia Tech men's golfer Drew Brockwell posted a three-round total of 10-over 223 and tied for 16th among male competitors at the Kingsmill Resort GCAA Amateur on Tuesday. The two-day tournament was played at the par 71, 6,831-yard River Course at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Brockwell, a junior from Chesterfield, Virginia, posted rounds of 71-75-77=223. He tied for 19th overall in the coed event. Spencer Oxendine of NC State defeated Austin Greaser of North Carolina in a playoff for the tournament championship. Both finished at 207.
