Hokies announce 2020-21 swimming and diving schedule

BLACKSBURG – The Hokies have announced the finalized swimming and diving schedule for the 2020-21 season. 

The schedule features four in-conference meets against Duke, North Carolina, NC State and Virginia. NC State won the Men's ACC Championship for the sixth straight time this past season, along with second place at the Women's ACC Championships. Virginia won the Women's ACC Championship this past season. 

The team will open its in-conference season in Durham, North Carolina against Duke on Nov. 7. Following the ACC match-up will be the US Open in late November. Tech will then travel to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the North Carolina invitational on Dec. 4-7. The Hokies will resume conference meets with Virginia on Jan.16 and NC State on Jan 30. 

The schedule has four Hokie Belt Challenge Duals contributing to the Hokie Belt Challenge. The Hokies have already competed on Sept. 26 and Oct. 10. The final two duals will be Oct. 24 and Jan. 9. 

The Hokies are set to host the Virginia Tech Invitational on Feb. 5-7, followed by the Women's and Men's ACC Championships on Feb. 17-20 and Feb. 24-27 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The NCAA Zone A Diving Championshipsdate hasn't been released yet, but it is expected to be in March, followed by the National Invitational Championships on March 12-14 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Women's NCAA Championships is scheduled for March 17-20 in Greensboro, North Carolina and the Men's Championships is scheduled for March 24-27 in Iowa City, Iowa. 

The Hokies will wrap up their season in April with the USA Swimming Grand Prix.
