BLACKSBURG – To open road play, the Virginia Tech volleyball team will travel to Durham, North Carolina to take on Duke on Oct. 24 at 5:30 p.m. ET and Oct. 25 at 5:30 p.m. ET inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. Saturday's contest will be available on the ACC Network Extra while Sunday's outing will be on the ACC Network.
The Hokies were originally supposed to play the Blue Devils this weekend but due to a pause in action, the matches have been rescheduled to later this month. These two matches against Duke will be the first road contests for the Hokies this season.
Last time out in Durham, the Blue Devils edged the Hokies 3-1 in 2019. Despite the loss, outside hitter Kaity Smith tallied a double-double with 14 kills and 14 digs.
This will be first-year head coach Marci Byers first ACC road match of her career.
UP NEXT: Before their trip to Durham, the Hokies will host in-state rival Virginia on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. ET and then again on Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. ET. Coverage will be available through the ACC Network for the second outing.
