Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Freshman defender Mary Griffin sat down with former Hokie midfielder Jessica Nonn via Zoom to discuss her time on the field in Blacksburg, some of her favorite traditions and why it's important to cherish every moment of the student-athlete experience.
Nonn, who suited up for the Hokies from 2009-12 started all 69 games of her career and is a centurion in four categories on the field, posting over 100 goals, ground balls, draw controls and caused turnovers. Her 139 goals rank fourth all-time, her 161 draws are seventh in the record book and Nonn's tally of 160 ground balls is third.
She was recognized for her outstanding play in 2012 on the All-ACC team and Nonn earned All-Academic three times in her career.
