Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech Athletics announces a pair of events for August 9, including Virtual Fan Day and the Hokie Club Virtual 5k.
Virtual Fan Day, presented by Virginia 529
Hear from select coaches and football student-athletes. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in parts of the day while seeing the team in a unique off-the-field setting. There will be raffles to win season tickets, parking passes, Coach Fuente signed footballs and more!
Local members of the Hokie Kids' Club can swing by Cassell Coliseum to pick up their 2020-21 Kids' Club packet. Stay in your car for curbside pick-up and a chance to meet the HokieBird while maintaining social distancing.

Hokie Club Virtual 5k
In conjunction with Virtual Fan Day, the Hokie Club is hosting a Virtual 5k. Set for the same day, the event can be completed at your convenience while you support Virginia Tech student-athletes. Registration for the event is $45 with $25 of each registration fee supporting the Hokie Scholarship Fund.
Each registration will include an official race packet, mailed to the address provided at checkout. Register by July 23 at 5 p.m. to receive your pack in time for race day. Packets will include an official Virtual 5k t-shirt, race bib, temporary tattoos, and a Hokie Club decal. Any registrations placed after the July 23 deadline will still receive a packet although it may arrive after August 9.
