BLACKSBURG – Junior attacker Sarah Lubnow caught up with her position coach Gregg Gebhard to discuss how the staff is preparing for the next academic year, how he got into coaching and how he takes care of the team's sticks on the field.

Gebhard, entering his fifth season at Virginia Tech has coached lacrosse for nearly two decades at multiple divisions following his playing career at Pfeiffer University.

Lubnow set career highs in goals and points this past season with 19 and 30 respectively and set a new personal best with five goals in the Hokies' rout of Radford in February. The attacker has 42 goals and 27 assists in her first three seasons, for 69 total career points. She is a business information technology major.
