HokieVision, the video arm of Virginia Tech Athletics, has received two nominations for the 2020 SVG College Sports Media Awards in association with NACDA.

"We're honored to be nominated as a finalist for two SVG awards this year," Eric Frey, Senior Director, ACC Network Operations said. "These get more and more competitive every year. Our staff and students work tirelessly to produce high quality broadcasts for ACC Network and it's wonderful to see all of their efforts reflected in these nominations."

This year's ceremony will be streamed on our YouTube channel on Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and will be hosted by an all-star collection of CSMA hosts from the past, including ESPN's Rece Davis, Jen Lada, and Tom Rinaldi; Fox Sports' Joel Klatt; and NCAA.com and BTN's Andy Katz.

HokieVision is a finalist in the live game category in the Collegiate Athletics division for the Dec. 6, 2019 men's basketball home game against Duke. HokieVision is a finalist in the live game category in the Collegiate Student division for the Nov. 16, 2019 men's basketball home game against Lehigh.

"This is a great step in the development of our ACC Network operations," said Angie Littlejohn, senior associate athletics director and ACC Network liaison for Virginia Tech. "To be recognized by this national organization in just the first full year of operations quite an accomplishment. This honor is a reflection of our entire ACC Network staff's tireless efforts and skill. I know that this is a harbinger of things to come."

Representing a variety of college athletic departments, conference offices, professional networks, production companies, and students, finalists are named across four divisions across five categories.
